
It’s been two years since Dave and his wife, Brooke, opened their barbecue joint in downtown Detroit, and the wait has only gotten longer.
“We are so excited to finally open,” said Dave, adding that the restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner everyday until December 20.
Dave said that he’s been cooking and serving up barbecue to hungry diners for more than a year.
“It’s such a good way to enjoy barbecue.
We love the taste and the taste is delicious.
We just want to keep doing it and keep doing what we do and see what happens,” Dave added.
“You can’t have it all.
It’s what we’ve always been doing.”
Brooke said that Dave has been making BBQ all along.
“The food is just delicious.
It is a little bit different, but the meat is just the same, they’re just the meat,” Brooke said.
“I think Dave is a really good cook, he’s really good at what he does.”
Brooke also said that the couple has been working hard on getting the place up to scratch, with new equipment.
“When we started, we did a little barbecue thing and now we have this new grill,” Brooke explained.
“And it’s like a little mini-grill that we built for him.
We’ve been making the grills for Dave for two years now and I think he’s finally getting the hang of it, and it’s so nice.”
Dave also added that he is still working on his grills and barbecue sauce.
“That’s a big deal,” he said.
Daves barbecue sauce is a blend of all-natural ingredients, including a blend made with honey, red pepper flakes and mustard seeds.
The sauce has been popular since its launch in 2012.
The barbeque sauce is made from an all-purpose blend of spices, such as garlic, chili powder, ground coriander and onion, and is served on everything from steaks to burgers.
Brooke said the barbeques BBQ sauce is also a must-have for her and Daves guests.
“Dave is the reason why we do so much food,” Brooke added.
