The secret to a pulled BBQ chicken sandwich is the sauce.
It’s easy to forget how great this dish is, and yet it can’t be compared to the great BBQ sauce on the market.
A pulled BBQ sauce is usually made with a mixture of vinegar and mustard, but here, I’m using the traditional barbecue sauce, pulled pork, smoked bacon, and mayo.
This recipe will keep your meat tender and juicy, with a subtle sweetness from the BBQ sauce.
Make sure you use a meat thermometer to check on the temperature of your meat.
It will take anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes for the sauce to become thick and bubbly.
Once it has, just pop the chicken into a large roasting pan.
The meat should have a nice crust on the outside, and you should see a nice crisp skin on the chicken.
This will be a great place to put the BBQ rub on your chicken, if you want to taste it.
If you want the chicken to be slightly crispier than the sauce, add a little more mayo to the chicken before serving. Enjoy!
