The Black Panther party was born in the early 1960s as a response to the assassinations of Martin Luther King Jr. and Martin Luther Johnson.
Today, the party’s black members comprise nearly 40 percent of the party.
In the past year, the Black Panthers have expanded into several states, including Texas, New York, and Maryland, as well as into the nation’s capital.
A Black Panther’s life is a life lived by the hammer, and as such, it is also the ultimate weapon of the Panthers.
Here are five things you need know about this revolutionary group.1.
They’re racist and anti-Semitic The Panthers’ primary goal is the “immediate and complete elimination of all forms of racism and anti -Semitism.”
This is their motto: “The world is a battlefield.
A race war is a war against the world.
Racism and anti sSemitism must be fought.”
Black Panther founder Huey P. Newton said of Jews in a 1967 speech: “I do not believe in the Jews; they are the enemies of the African race.
.
.
.
They are the main source of racial oppression in the world.”2.
They are racist and xenophobicThe Black Panthers view all white people as racist and “the enemy of the Black race,” which is why they have referred to them as “nigger people” and called them “faggots.”
The party says that all whites are “a colonial force” that needs to be destroyed.3.
They say that Jews and Christians should go to hellThe Black Panther organization believes that “every Jew and Christian is an enemy of God.”
This includes the pope and the pope’s closest advisors, John Paul II and Archbishop Charles Chaput.
In a 1976 speech, Panthers leader Huey Newton declared: “We don’t have a single Jew in our ranks.”4.
They’ve been linked to a variety of extremist groupsIn the 1970s, the Panthers created a splinter group called the Black Liberation Army, which grew into the Black National Liberation Army (BLA).
The Panthers called the group the “Black Panther Party,” and the organization’s motto is: “All Black people are brothers, all Blacks are brothers in the struggle against white supremacy.”
In 1976, Panther leader Leon Russell called the BLA a “terrorist organization” that he claimed had links to the Black Guerrilla Army.5.
They have been involved in numerous acts of violenceThe Black Lives Matter movement has been linked in recent years to several violent acts that have taken place in the Black community.
In 2016, a group of armed men from the Black Patriots Militia (BPM) attempted to storm the headquarters of the National Black Panther Committee in Philadelphia.
This attempt failed, but it did lead to the arrest of seven Black Panthers, who were subsequently charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
In 2018, a Black Panther group attempted to burn down a police station in Dallas.
The police used pepper spray and tear gas to disperse the group, which included a dozen Black Panther leaders and members.
In August 2019, a man who claimed to be a member of the group killed three police officers and injured nine others at a Black Lives Movement rally in St. Louis.
In December, the U.S. Marshals Service arrested a Black Panthers member in Florida after he allegedly threatened to blow up a police car.
The man, who was a member in the UMP, was released on bail and is awaiting trial.
